  This place is amazing. Do your self a favour if your arriving late call ahead and pre order your dinner TRUST me you will thank me. If it wasn't so far away I would go just for there roast beef wow yummm. All the staff are amazing I can't fault it

  We stayed overnight at a powered site ($30 a night) on our drive from Canberra to Perth in late August 2022. The site was gravel and flat, the sites were also well spaced. Would be best for camper trailers and caravans as the ground could be a bit hard but we had a big air mattress in our tent so it was fine for us. It was nice to have power available to charge phones etc. There was a toilet and shower block available with a 5 minute shower token provided per person. Toilets were clean but I did find it difficult to shower in the 5 minutes as it took time to warm up (my particular shower was leaking a lot from the head so the water pressure wasn't great) and there wasn't really any room to put stuff or get changed but I was still very glad that there were showers provided. Wedgetail Inn Hotel is home to two rescued Wedgetail eagles Samantha and Bruce. It was nice hearing them calling and it made the place unique. The location is interesting as well with an air strip and some old vehicles etc nearby. We also had food there, the beef burger and chips were delicious (also a nice big burger with lots of veg in it). The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Thanks guys!

  We had an overnight stop at the Wedge Tailed Eagle Inn Hotel. The room was basic but fine and very clean, a real achievement in such a harsh environment. For the evening meal we ordered parmigiana with vegetables (six types) and all done to perfection. Special mention to Adam who was very friendly and helpful.

  Very happy we chose Cocklebiddy for our stopover. Wedgetail inn had comfy bed and clean bathroom. Great choice of food. Friendly welcome from John. Will def stay again on return trip.

  The staff were friendly. Nice to see the care and concern for the local wildlife, especially the resident Eagles. The room was sufficient, hot shower, comfortable bed and they had the room warmer up when we arrived. Just a little noisy. The food was amazing and great value. Cudos to the guys in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend staying here or even just stopping for a feed and a coldie. Oh and the camping area looked good as well.

  Basic rooms but they do the job, better than driving through the night and into a roo.
  Roast pork was good as well but could have been half the size.
  Nice people in charge as well
